& Healing Stages
Day 1
- Do not wash/wet your brows in the first 24 hours.
- After 24 hrs, wash your hands first. Then, wash your brows with mild soap, pat your brows dry with clean, soft cotton rounds. Next, apply A&D ointment (or Vaseline) twice a day for the next 2 weeks.
- No rubbing, picking, or scratching
- Do not apply makeup on the healing area
- Do not apply brow growth serums with prostaglandin analogues before and after the procedure
- Avoid skincare with active ingredients (for example, retinol, acids) for 2 weeks
- Avoid excessive sweating
- Sleep on your back
- No direct shower spray on the healing area
- Avoid hair removal on the healing area
- Avoid chemical peels/facials/botox
- Avoid direct sunlight
- Do not swim in fresh, salt, or chlorinated
Day 2–14
- Sleep on your back for 1 week.
- Always wash and clean your hands before touching your skin
- Wash the area gently with a gentle cleanser (do not use cleansers with acids or exfoliants)
- Apply A&D ointment (or Vaseline) twice a day
- No rubbing, picking, or scratching
- Do not apply makeup on the healing area
- Do not apply brow growth serums with prostaglandin analogues before and after the procedure
- Avoid skincare with active ingredients (for example, retinol, acids) for 2 weeks
- Avoid exposing your eyebrows to excessive moisture, such as in saunas, steam rooms, or swimming pools.
- Do avoid direct sunlight and wear a hat or sunglasses when outdoors.
- No direct shower spray on the area.
- Avoid hair removal on the healing area
- Avoid chemical peels/facials/botox
- Do not swim in fresh, salt, or chlorinated water
Day 14 onwards
- Use sunscreen to protect your eyebrows from prolonged sun exposure
- Do moisturize the treated area as needed, using a non-fragrant and non-comedogenic moisturizer.
- Do consider incorporating a brow serum into your daily routine once for healthy-looking eyebrows
- Do consult your technician if you have any concerns or questions.
IMPORTANT:
Watch for Infection or Unusual Reactions
Signs of infection include excessive redness, swelling, pus, or pain.
If you experience these symptoms, or if you have concerns about your healing process, immediately seek medical advice from a healthcare professional.
If you have allergic reactions to the ointment or experience prolonged discomfort, reach out to your technician or a doctor.

IMPORTANT: -
Signs of infection: If you notice significant redness, pain, swelling, or pus, there could be an infection, and you should reach out to your artist or healthcare professional.

Persistent irritation: If the skin doesn’t seem to be healing properly or if you experience extreme discomfort, get in touch with your artist.

Allergic reactions: If you have any allergic reactions to the aftercare products or ointment, stop using them and consult your PMU artist or a healthcare provider for an alternative.
Aftercare

• No alcohol or caffeine 24–48 hours before your appointment
• No aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood-thinning meds (unless prescribed—ask your doctor)
• Pause blood-thinning supplements (fish oil, vitamin E, niacin, ginkgo, etc.)
• Avoid sunburn, tanning, or strong skin treatments 1–2 weeks before
• No Botox or fillers near the area for 2–4 weeks before
• Do not come sick; get a good night’s sleep before your appointment
• No waxing, threading, or tinting 3–5 days before
• Come with clean skin and no makeup on the area
• Plan 7–14 days for healing before big events
